Search Options for Roku

In this article:

• Learn how to search for a TV show, series or movie by title
• Learn how to search for a network or channel collection
  

SEARCH BY TITLE for a Live, On Demand or Recorded TV Show or Movie:

1) Using the UP/DOWN/LEFT/RIGHT buttons on your Roku Remote and the on screen keyboard, spell the title of a TV Show, On Demand Episode/Movie or Recorded program and tap the OK button after each letter. Results will begin to populate as letters are selected.

• Note: Search does not support searching for channel numbers. To tune to a specific channel number, visit this link.

2) Tap the RIGHT button on your Roku remote to move from the keyboard to the results list. Navigate between results by tapping the UP or DOWN buttons on your Roku remote and tap OK to select a result.

Once a TV Show or Movie is selected, the program details page will appear.

SEARCH BY NETWORK or channel collection:

1) Using the UP/DOWN/LEFT/RIGHT buttons on your Roku Remote and the on screen keyboard, spell the name of the network or channel collection and tap the OK button after each letter. Results will begin to populate as letters are selected.

2) Tap the RIGHT button on your Roku remote to move from the keyboard to the results list. Navigate between results by tapping the UP or DOWN buttons on your Roku remote and tap OK to select a result.

• When selecting a Channel Collection from the results list, a list of related networks will populate on the right. Tap the RIGHT button on your Roku remote to move to the channel list. To navigate within the list, use the UP and DOWN buttons on your Roku remote. Tap the OK button to select the channel.
